ManageEasy is another creative technology that shows Legend QDI's capability and competitiveness in product design and innovation. ManageEasy application software is bundled with Legend QDI's newest BrillianX Series - 440BX Intel Pentium II Processor based mainboard.

An enhanced Client/Server management software

"ManageEasy" is enhanced Client/Server management software. ManageEasy also known as Legend QDI Desktop Manager (QDM) serves as an interface between users and the complex hardware. It is a useful tool to monitor PC health providing local and remote alerts of potential problems in real time at both individual PC and LAN level. ManageEasy provides predictive failure mechanisms for catching problems with the hard drive, fan, power supply or temperature.

Reduced cost of Ownership

ManageEasy is a creative software, which seeks to strengthen control of computer hardware in view of the ever-increasing complexity of computer development. More importantly, it is designed to lower the cost of PC ownership while providing greater control and flexibility to system administrators and users.

Key components of ManageEasy

ManageEasy consists of 3 components which run under Windows 95/98 or Windows NT platform.
Firstly, the Administrator Management Application (AMA). It provides the management tools for the administrator. With AMA, administrator can implement remote monitoring and managing. Administrators can detect or view system information and PC health status for any computer under the LAN environment. AMA has some special features to assist the administrators, these features include watching remote computer's screen, viewing the health status of the remote computers, talking with remote computers and controlling remote computers' OS resources.

Secondly, the Local Management Applications which is for local computer. It provides some functions to help users to manage their computer. It includes functions which monitor basic hardware, memory, input/output ports, PC health and configuration.

Thirdly, the DMI BIOS Viewer which is also a local application. It provides all information about the computing system and its components. DMI BIOS Viewer supports DM BIOS 2.3.
