Legend QDI Makes Another Go Into
International Graphics Card Market
At the time of releasing nVIDIA AGP 8X, Legend QDI
is now well prepared to go into the graphics card market. In fact,
Legend QDI board/card products enjoy very good reputation globally.
However, before 1995, QDI graphics card was recognized as "King
of VGA" for its high productive capacity and excellent quality.
This time QDI has made another go into the graphics card market,
which doubtless is a good match to its mainboards.
The graphics card that Legend QDI has released this
time is called "NPACT", the five designs of which all
use nVIDIA GPU, including:
-
Npact440 ( Geforce4 MX440 )
-
Npact4200 ( Geforce4 Ti4200 )
-
Npact4600 ( Geforce4 Ti4600 )
-
Npact440 AGP8X ( Geforce4 MX440 w/AGP 8X
)
-
Npact4200 AGP8X ( Geforce4 Ti4200 w/AGP 8X
)
Its product is oriented to mid and high end markets.
It has black PCB and uniquely shaped and well-performing heat sink
and cooler. The two designs of N440 AGP8X and N4200 AGP8X provide
the latest AGP 8X standard interface, increasing the AGP bus bandwidth
to 2.1GB/second, perfectly supporting the powerful graphic processing
capacity and enhancing the performance of graphics card to a brand-new
level. The two well performing designs of graphics cards respectively
adopt 64MB and 128MB 128bit memories, equipped with the lightspeed
memory architecture II and Accuview Antialiasing technology. The
VGA/TV/DVI port provided can support a refresh rate as high as 60Hz
in the resolution of 2048*1536. Other nVIDIA series of graphics
cards, N440 adopts MX440 GPU, which is the mainstream at present.
The high-end N4200 and the N4600, which can support 10.4GB/s memory
bandwidth, can satisfy the demands of different levels in the market.
The graphics card that QDI has just released bases
itself in the market for its high quality just like the mainboard
has done. QDI has well-established logistics and service systems
all over the world and the successes it has made in the graphics
card market earlier will also lend a hand for reentering the market.
What results QDI will achieve in this go? Let us wait and see what
the market will say.
Now QDI's mainboards that support AGP8X, including
QDI KD7X (KT400), will be launched into the market one after another.
KD7X has made its debut in the world's high-profile hardware website--TOM'HARDWARE
as the "First Look" DDR400 mainboard globally and has
won favorable comments from the website for its original design.
We believe that the combination of QDI mainboard and AGP8X series
graphics cards will enable the consumers really experience the power
of AGP8X.
