At
this year's Comdex, QDI released its fifteenth innovative technology
in a big way: UpdateEasy, which has improved the whole process
of refreshing BIOS and facilitated the users to get completely
out of the time-consuming complex operation process. Continuous
innovation and user orientation has been the goal that QDI has
been trying to achieve. Since the release of its first jumper-free
technology-SpeedEasy globally, Legend QDI has released more than
ten Easy technologies, each of which has made the operation of
computer more Easy.
In order to improve the performance and compatibility of the system
and add new features, the consumers are frequently required to
refresh the mainboard BIOS. In previous operations, to refresh
the mainboard, the consumers had to first download the upgraded
version from the designated website and run the proper refreshing
programs under the operating system and then restart the system.
In the whole process, the users not only had to take too much
time to search but also tended to select the wrong mainboard BIOS
by mistake. Now with UpdateEasy, the click of "Update by
Net" function will enable the system to directly refresh
the latest version of BIOS, without the need of checking the model
of the mainboard or the version, which saves time and eliminates
the possibility of refreshing BIOS in a wrong way, easy and quick.
The consumers do not need install the UpdateEasy program, which
is plug-and-play "environment-friendly" software. To
make the operation easier, we provide interfaces both in English
and in Chinese. The consumers can click the "Update By Net"
function directly as they need to upgrade the BIOS. They can also
click the "Update By File" if they want to choose any
of the updated versions (not the latest version). In addition,
the "restore" function is added, which can restore the
BIOS files originally stored. There is one important thing that
