Another Focus on CeBIT Show--LEGEND QDI Launched STEPEASY Technology

Legend QDI has launched her ninth EASY technology-BOOTEASY in state at the just-concluded COMDEX. Now carrying on her consistent concept of "Treat customers as supremacy" and living up to the expectations of the public, Legend QDI will launched in a big way her tenth EASY technology-STEPEASY at the CeBIT of Year 2001, adding a focus to the exhibition and bringing good and exciting news to the DIYs.

STEPEASY technology has realized the stepless frequency change in the case of overclocking frequency. It is a tool, functionally powerful and easy to operate. It provides a friendly and visible operating interface, which enables you to change the operating frequency of CPU within seconds, improves the processor performance and meets the various demands of DIYs. In the past, the overclocking fanciers could only have a limited number of options due to the restrictions of the elements including the clock chip. For example, the jumping from 66MHz to 100 MHz and then to 133 MHz, plus some other options besides the standard FSB has in fact not given full play to the potentiality of CPU and fanciers' available configuration. STEPEASY will help you bring your PC features into full swing. STEPEASY is unique and intellegentized technology. After you choose and confirm the operating frequency of CPU, it will immediately operate at the frequency you set without restarting your computer or opening your PC casing or changing the jumper setting. It is very easy and quick. With STEPEASY, you can choose to overclock at every 1MHz CPU core frequency. For instance, CPU of 800MHz can be overclocked to 801MHz, 802 MHz, 803 MHz, etc, having you yourself experiencing the super speed, seeing the occasion of challenging extremes and enjoying the vivid charm of overclocking.

Besides meeting the users' demand for overclocking, STEPEASY considers the safety of users' PC system. With the operating frequency of CPU selected, STEPEASY can automatically detect the type of CPU and display three different colors in the LED window, telling you whether the frequency is safe. For example, "Green" indicates the frequency you choose is safe and you can use it while "Yellow" means the selected frequency is of some danger and flashing "Red" tells you the selected frequency is not safe, so it is suggested that you not use this frequency. STEPEASY has a pioneering feature that when you challenge the extremes and do dangerous actions, which is too much for the system, the PC may be hanged. In this case, STEPEASY will count down five seconds automatically, then have your PC return to the previous saved CPU frequency, resume system boot and make the system operate safely.
