5月27-28日， QDI事业部迎来了15位分别来自英、法、德、俄、意、西班牙、荷兰、丹麦、希腊欧洲九国的客人,他们都是专程来访问QDI的各国著名IT专业媒体的编辑或技术主编。
欧洲区是较早开拓QDI业务的市场，经过多年的积累，QDI凭借着优良品质，在一向以苛刻著称的欧洲市场扎下了根，并得到了市场的认可和回报：QDI主板在希腊、西班牙市场份额第一；在德国、意大利居于前三。但因为地域的原因，欧洲市场对QDI的了解，特别是QDI的技术实力和竞争优势的了解都存在局限。因此，这次欧洲媒体团的访问，可以说是QDI与欧洲市场零距离的"亲密"接触，对以后QDI业务在欧洲区的推广有重要的意义。
短短的二天访问，从产品介绍到演示，从技术讲解到实验室参观，QDI以自己的实力征服了欧洲的媒体朋友们，让他们看到了一个真实的QDI世界。正如西班牙《PVD》技术编辑Jose
Lgnacio先生表示，虽然QDI主板在西班牙的声望极高，但他仍没有想到QDI竟然有这么强的研发实力，先进的设备、严格的测试都属世界一流。
欧洲媒体团的访问结束了，有幸的是，我们的欧洲记者朋友们对这次旅行似乎还比较满意。其中，来自丹麦www.Hardware-Test.dk的负责人Steen

Legend QDI Media Tour 2002.

Manager Steen Teglers from www.Hardware-Test.dk, which is one of
the biggest network of hardware websites in Scandinavia, participated
as a part of the big European media group, from 13 selected medias-
who was invited to visit Legend QDI′s facilities in ShenZhen, China,
from the 25/5 - 2/6 -2002.
Also from Europe, there were participating journalists from: PC
Expert, PC Max, Hardware-France, PC Professional, PC Profesionale,
PC World, PVD, Computer Total, Ixbt.com and last but not least,
RAM from Greece.
After a short accommodation in Hong Kong, the trip went quickly
to ShenZen in China, where QDI legend have their facilities.
In the Legend Research and Development building, our group was welcome
by General Manager Mr. Adams W.G.Xu, who presented Legend QDI′s
company profile, in corporation with his staff, and a presentation
of the QDI "product roadmap" for the new and future QDI
products - This evolved to a very interesting meeting, with opportunity
for asking questions to the "product roadmap" and presented
an excellent chance for a discussion about their composition, Intel
vs. AMD.
Next day, the trip went to Hui Yang, where Legend QDI have their
factory facilities for production of mainboards (among others),
where we got a tour of the entire production line, from the raw
print to the finished product. We also had a thorough briefing in
QDI′s production control.
Next
we had a quick lunch and then headed back to the Legend Research
and Development building in ShenZhen for an extensive tour of the
many laboratory facilities and "live demonstrations" of
the different BIOS setups together with the unique functions of
QDI mainboard. This exciting tour was ended in a long worthwhile
discussion.
It was a very interesting press tour we experienced by visiting
China and not least Legend QDI - and by the end of the tour, a strong
personal bond has absolutely built up between QDI's staff and us.
